Solar power training 'may be needed at Coundon school'
It seems as though the expertise of people with solar heating systems training could be required at one educational establishment.
Christ the King Roman Catholic Infant School in Coundon is going green and will soon be doing its bit to save the environment, the Coventry Telegraph reports.
This is because it has been selected to receive £20,000 solar panels that will be installed on its buildings later on in the year.
The environmentally-friendly devices will be put in place by solar energy company Solarcentury as part of the Co-operative's Green Energy for Schools scheme.
Launched in 2007, the programme is the largest renewable energy education initiative in the UK, the news provider informs.
Homeowners were recently advised by Solar System that if they install the eco-friendly panels, they are likely to save money as their energy bills could be reduced by as much as 80 per cent.
