Receiving electrical training and being self-employed 'could be the way forward'

With the jobs market continuing to be hit hard by the recession, it has been suggested that enrolling on an electrical training course and becoming self-employed could be the way forward.

Writing for the Independent, Hamish McRae has claimed that in the future, there will be an increasing shift towards self-employment.

He also thinks that the trend for part-time working will increase, whether this is a decision made by employees or one that they have imposed upon them.

Mr McRae continues by suggesting that new vacancies will require increasingly high levels of skill and women are also likely to continue performing better than men in the jobs market.

Therefore, it may be a good idea for females to sign up for some electrician training and see if being self-employed is the career route for them.

In related news, landlords may benefit from receiving electrician training as James Davis, founder and chief executive of upad, recently claimed that more people are considering renting properties.

Therefore those looking for tenants could save money if they are able to spruce up a property themselves.
