Man with plumbing training 'climbs up search engine ranking'
A man with plumbing training appears to have become more popular with the public after his family appeared on a television programme.
Charlie Mullins, who established Pimlico Plumbers, is a new entry in This is Money's ranking for top arrivals from internet search engines.
According to the website, this is because members of his family recently appeared on the Channel 4 show How the Other Half Live.
This is Money states that an "incredible level of interest" has been seen in the plumber, as searches for his firm are "comfortably beating perennial favourites such as share tips, savings rates and exchange rates".
Pimlico Plumbers is the most successful firm of its kind in the UK, according to the website.
Discussing why this is the case, Mr Mullins said: "We are different to other plumbers; we pride ourselves in a service which is very reliable and efficient."
He also told the Financial Times recently that plumbers have always had a bad name and his business works to alter this image.
