Apprenticeships are the proven way to compliment and develop your existing workforce by harnessing new talent.
By enabling employees to gain NVQ qualifications and combining these with workplace experience, you ensure that skills gaps are reduced and that productivity is increased.
Our apprenticeship services are focussed in our industries of domestic trades, electrical engineering and water, with funding available from the National Apprenticeship Service.
The size of the contribution varies depending on your sector and the age of the candidate. If the apprentice is aged 16–18, you will receive 100 per cent of the cost of the training; if they are 19+, you will receive up to 50 per cent.
This is paid directly to the organisation that provides and supports the Apprenticeship; in most cases this will be a learning provider such as MET.
