Course Content
Once completing this course you will be able to:
- State the main legislative & guidance documents relative to the control of Legionnaire’ disease & disinfection of water systems.
- Describe briefly the basic properties of water
- Know the term Legionnaires’ disease & Legionella bacteria.
- Assess existing installations for potential basic design risks & make recommendations to rectify the problems.
- Carry out cleaning & disinfection of a cold & hot water system.
