With a projected level of churn estimated at 108% between now and 2024 and 9,000 new electrical engineers needed to keep supplies sustainable between now and 2020, addressing these skills challenges will certainly be significant.
In partnership with our sister business Freedom (www.freedom-group.co.uk), a leading provider of Electrical Engineering Services to some of the UK’s leading electricity companies, decided to meet the challenge head on and deliver facilities and courses that would go a significant way to help address the sectors skills challenges.
Via our multi million pound state of the art facility at Corby, we provide craft and engineering training on all voltages up to 132,000 Volts.
Open since late 2009 and already with accreditations to train from EDF Energy Networks, we aim to provide vital inputs into meeting the skills needs of the industry via our growing involvement with the National Skills Academy for Power.
