Course Content
This course highlights basic electrical safety and identifies any possible future training requirements.
• What is electricity, its uses and methods of control?
• Common electrical accidents/incidents, how they occur and basic first aid practices
• How common accidents/incidents may be avoided.
• Demonstration of how to undertake safe isolation of electrical supplies
• An understanding of basic testing requirements relating to alteration/installation work on electrical supplies & the statuary documentation required when this work is carried out by contractors etc.
