With funding available from the National Apprenticeship Service, MET have teamed up with local colleges and organisations to provide confidence and certainty to anyone considering taking on an apprentice.
Funding
The size of the funding contribution from the National Apprenticeship Service varies depending upon the sector you work in and the age of the candidates.
At present time, if the apprentice is aged 16 to 18, you will receive 100 per cent of the cost of their training. If they are 19 + you will receive up to 50 per cent.
This is paid directly to the organisation that provides and the supports the apprenticeship, in most cases this will be a learning provider such as MET.
